Today is my 1st Blogoversary!!
Today I will show you the selection of toys that will be available at my party!
This is the contents of my toy box. I think I may be spoiled. My Big One is disgruntled because we have more toys than him.
Now usually my OTW only puts out a half dozen or so of our toys (though the box is kept on the bottom shelf of the video bookcase so if we really want a specific toy or we're bored of the ones out we can dig through the box and find what we want) but for the party all the toys will be out.
Here you see a selection of wand toys and leis. Yes, everycat can even play with my leis. But just for the party! Not seen in this picture, Whisper's favourite, Dead-Mousie-Onna-String, which is missing. My OTW promises to find it. It's a good one!
We will have a wand toy attendant to work the wand toys for us. My OTW in particular is good at this. She can easily manage two at the same time. Sometimes she can even manage more than one in a hand! And she has prehensile toes! She can even hold a wand in them! Shall we see just how many wand toys she can make dance for us all at the same time? Heeheehee!
This is my selection of mousie toys. There may be a few more hidden around the house that my humans will find while they clean up the place for the party. We have several different styles for different cat preferences. As you can see, some of the mousies are even marinating in catnip for the catnip lovers!
Now this is something different! My OTW got these bats last year to decorate the house, but when she got them home and took them out she found that they had no way to be hung up!!!! I found one and decided they made a great toy, so into my toy box they went!
These are my balls! My two favourites are the big fuzzy purple and pink one, and the pink and yellow one made of rope. It has a bell inside. But all these balls are good and the eyeballs are especially appropriate this time of year! and they roll as well on the carpets as on the hard floor! I was thinking about using a few of the eyeballs for tub hockey! Some of the others roll funny 'cause they're shaped weird, and several have bells or rattly things inside. A couple bounce really good, one has a mousie inside and the two brown ones with fev-vers are even tied together!
We have several small bits of fabric, shoelaces and ribbons to play with for those who like them. These all look so nice and unbitten because my OTW recently got rid of most of my worst destroyed ones.
Stuffed animals, for those who like to wrestle and bunnykick inanimate objects. These are the small ones that live in my toy box. Underneath the stuffed animals are our nip pads from last Christmas. They have crinkly stuff inside too, so they're fun to pounce!
We have bigger stuffed animals too, but they're in the storage locker. The Big One will bring them home before the party. As you can see from this old picture, at least one of the stuffed toys is big enough to give even Tripper a challenge!!!
Paper bags and bits of paper of various sorts to pounce and bitey and skitter around and lay on! the thin long ones are the ones my OTW got me for my birthday when I decided I didn't like the Two-Balls-Tied-Together toy. They're great! They're made of thick paper that can stand up to a lot of bitey and pouncing!
Fev-vers!!! Big ones! These are two Canada Goose fev-vers, and one crow fev-ver. We have more but these were the ones in the box. My OTW thinks the rest got into boxes in her sewing room 'cause that's where I always dragged them. She's cleaning up that room for the party and says she'll find them back. Also the Good Cat Bottle. Not to be confused with the Bad Cat Bottle! This bottle is filled with catnip tea to spray on stuff kitties like to play with!
Also missing from the picture are my make-up brushes. I LOVELOVELOVE playing with these! My OTW doesn't wear make-up anymore because she never had any brushes to put it on with 'cause I stole them all! She made a deal with me. All the make-up brushes were mine, if I left her paint brushes alone. I even DO leave her paint brushes alone! At least when she remembers to hide them from me!
We can only find one right now. My OTW said she try to find a few more so everycat can try them!
A special mousie the Big One brought home as a Sorry-I-Went-Away present last week. It jingles and when you pouncy it, it springs back up!!!
We have a rolly thing too! I just like to scratch on it, but I know a lot of kitties, especially younger ones love these!
Tents! These fall down easily, but are still fun! And...
Cubes! Both good for Tent Wars!!!
My OTW wanted me to include this picture too. She says these fev-vers are NOT toys! She would rather we played with the goose and crow fev-vers. She said those are safer anyway, because we could get the long thin floofy bits of these fev-vers stuck in our throats!
Also available will be a new game that I found at Shilgiah's blog! Dunk the Duckys!!! My people have a squillion rubber duckies! Even ones in costumes! We have devil duckies, and dead duckies, and nurse duckies, and school-boy duckies and cop duckies and business people duckies and baby duckies and plain duckies! But they're also still in storage, so the Big One promised to find them, and a lake to dunk them in.
If anycat can think of any other games and toys we can play, please let me know and my OTW will see what she can do!
