Save the Environment Dare

We're running a little late because we are mad at our OTW and we are not playing well with her! But here is Our "Fun and Creative" way of saving the environment!


We help our OTW unravel old knitted things so she has more strings to play with and make art! I sleep on the knitted thing to hold it down while she unravels.


Persephone plays with the rolled up strings to make sure they are on the tube securely. We thought it was the best example because strings are fun and art is creative!

My OTW asked us to point out that the tubes are also recycled, because she saves them from the balls of strings she buys at second hand stores and uses up, but we're not going to tell you that, because we are mad at her.

I mean, really. What part of 'kitten' did you NOT understand, OTW?

She also started singing

Ye'll ne'er get me buried booty!"

But she's bin hittin' the rum a wee bit hard t'night! Our Stinky Goodness was SIX HOURS LATE!!!!

And what's this Pirate Princess Persephone sniffs about a Boardin' Party? Who's Trapper?!?

We're off t'go raidin' with all o' th' other Pirate Pusses! But don't be thinkin' o' causin' no trouble while we're gone, Wench! We be keepin' our eye on ye, just th' same!

Thursday Thirteen-Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday. I'm 12. Here are thirteen things I didn't get on my birthday.


1. Did I get any toys? No, I did not.


2. Did I get a cake? No, I did not.


3. Did I get a party? No, didn’t get that either.


4. Did I get extra gooshy foods? Nope.


5. Did I get a kitten? Nuh uh..


6. How about a party? Not a peep.


7. Did I get laps? Not a one.


8. Did I get to post on my own blog? No.


9. Was there a party? HA!


10. Did I get a new box? Nope.


11. Did I get a pot of grass? Nuh uh.


12. Did I get chocolate? Not even that.


13. Did I mention I didn’t get a party?

Do you know what I got instead? A claw-clipping. A CLAW-CLIPPING?!? Who gives a cat a CLAW-CLIPPING for their birthday?!?!?


I'll be in my treehouse if any Opposable Thumb Wench loves me....

PersePHONY here! Ha! Those Goody-Four-Paws can't get the Mom-person to help them blog, but that isn't gonna stop ME!!!

I'd like to present for your consideration these two photo-essays of BAD! The first is called "Death of a Pooh" and is dedicated to Texas, for the first ever Fractious Cat Friday!










And this second photo-essay is called "Meditations on a Roll of Paper". I'd like to dedicate this one to Faith-Boomerang, who taught me everything I know about Paper-roll deconstruction.
