I got one of these balls last year, and I've noticed several kitties got them this year.
But when my OTW took a good look at it she noticed that the sparkles are really easy to pull out, and that we had bunnykicked several half out!
My OTW just wanted to warn the catmunity that while these balls are great fun for kitties, they probably shouldn't be left out to be played with unsupervised, as the sparkly tinsel can do bad stuff to our insides, though these pieces are probably small enough not to be too dangerous.

Jack, that is very good to know about the sparkle balls. Our beans took down da Christmas tree......hummm, we forgot dat dis year's tree was fake and we was eating some and getting sick. First Mindy got da blame, then me....

Thanks for the warning. I have never had a sparkle ball before, but now I think I will save my moneys for a different toy!

Thanks fur da FSA, Sadie is da only cat here dat plays wif doze. She runs up and down the stairs yowling wif dem in her mouth then puts dem back in our toy box. Maybe she already knew?
Yes, we found that the sparkle balls died a quick death when they were played with. Fortunately the sparkle was all over the house and not in anyone's tummy.
