Paper?
Or Plastic?
Pounce NO to both!!! (Except as EXCELLENT cat toys!)
Purr YES to reusable cloth bags! (For your groceries, and stuff. Not your cats. They're boring to pounce, 'cause they don't crinkle, and we don't like crawling in them!)
They can be used for many handy things besides groceries! They won't break halfway up the stairs and spill your gooshy food tins all over the hall! They won't get holes in them on a single car ride home and have to be thrown out without being reused! And most suppermarkets (even up here halfway to the meowing North Pole, in Oil-and-Vishus-Deer Country) sell them for a dollar or two!
Stop the senseless slaughter of trees and plastic plants!!! (Give ME the plastic plants! I will lick them and bite them and have eleventy-two kinds of fun!)

You make a very good point.
Great post, Jack! Here in Germany, everyone brings their own bags when they go shopping. If you forget, you have to buy bags, and the price of the bag helps to offset the cost of recycling or disposing of it.
Oooh, Riley (my brofur)loves anything plastic. But, you have a good point with bringing your own bags. Maybe I can figure out how to sneak into one so we can go to work with mommy! Do you think she would notice?
Purrs, Batman
If you put the plastic over the air vent, when the air machine kicks on it goes flying across the room. It's really cool. One of my favoritist games!
Mom has those bags,Some from the store, some she made. But they don't crinkle :( Oh well, I will just have to lay on something that smell like her!
All of thems are fun! I LUV gettin inside all the reusable cloth bags! Then I's all hided an can scare Bonnie real good. Bonnie tries to eat plastic, so I don't get to play wif those.
