Tuxie Tuesday

I'm not a tuxie but Grumpybutt is. He doesn't have a blog, cause mostly all he does is nap. In really weird positions.

I want a kitten.

Ok, Jack...Do tell us "Grumpybutt's" real name! He is pretty handsome. I love the bottom picture!

The Opposable Thumb Wench calls him Whisper. She says that's what his Original person called him, 'cause you can't hardly hear him meow, 'cept when he's spending time with his 'Special Friend' the Dead Dustmop. He's not all vocal and talkative like me.

He says it's a stupid name, and his real name is magnificent and fierce, and regal, but he won't tell us what it is.

I think he's making it up, so I call him Grumpybutt 'cause it bugs him. Heh.

Very nice to meet you Jack & Mr. Regal Name! You have a very nice blog - welcome to the world of kitty bloggin'! btw: do you really want a kitten . . . ?

Well, it doesn't HAVE to be a kitten. I'd be happy if she got me a grown-up cat who liked to play and snuggle and doesn't mind me grooming them, but Grumpybutt won't even let me near him, and the Big One says he doesn't really want the cats to outnumber the peoples.

I just thought a kitten would be easier to train, 'cause he'd still be used to playing and snuggling with his littermates and being groomed by his cat-mom.

Thing is, the OTW says there doesn't seem to be SPCAs up this far north and lots of people don't seem to make sure their kitties don't have kittens, so the Big One says lots of his staff keep telling him their cats had kittens.

We were supposed to get a cat from the SPCA last year in Vancouver, but then the OTW found out about Grumpybutt needing a home, 'cause his people couldn't take him with them and he was living somewhere he hates talking about while they found him a home. I don't mind sharing my home with Grumpybutt, but I wanna snuggle!

Well, Whisper you are a cute tuxie. I'll call you Whisper for now, 'cause I don't want to call such a beautifull tuxie the G word.

Hi Jack & Whisper, welcome to bloggin'! Nice to meet both of ya!

Whisper says hi and thank you for saying he's handsome.

He also says I'm just jealous because I'm not a big handsome man-cat like him. He says I'm a sissy for wanting to snuggle and stuff.

Fsk! Yeah, he's big. A big LUMP. And a big man-cat should be secure enough in his big man-catness to snuggle, right?
