- Cast of Characters: Jack- Me, the Magnificent Man-cat of the house. I'm an 12 year old Domestic Shorthair and I look pure black, but I'm really tabby striped in black and blacker. I'm also a Vishus Deer-hunting Viking Cat, artist's model and assistant. Persephone-my Fat Sister. She's a bit of a pest, but I like her a lot. She 'rassles with me and grooms me, and never SHUTS UP!!! She's a gorgeous house panther too. She's 3 and probably part meezer. PersePHONY is her Evil Twin. The OTW- Opposable Thumb Wench. My personal human. I've had her since I was born. She's an artist and an expert at giving really good scritches and tummy-rubs. She takes care of us. Persephone refers to her as mommy. The Big One: my OTW's human male companion. He's very BIG. He almost reaches the ceiling!!! He hunts for us all and brings home the kibbles. He also squashes pickle jars and opens spiders for my OTW. Persephone calls him her Daddy. Grumpybutt AKA Whisper: my other feline housemate, who went to the Bridge at the end of summer. He was Grumpy, but the humans loved him.

We had some sun and above freezing temps since the weekend. WE FINALLY got rid of the 3" ice in the driveway and on our road. (It's a dirt road )
Now Mom says we might have some snow Sunday :O
Why???? It will be Spring then!!!!
