Thursday 13-Thirteen Pictures of Home

Sometime even my OTW likes where we live. These were taken downriver from where we live. Just a little north of here, my OTW says there's a ferry (and here) to take cars across. It's about one short nap south of town. If you zoom out three clicks on the map there's two islands just at the bottom left. My OTW was taking these pictures from the little wiggle in the road just above the islands (they were one island when she took the pictures).

Closer to home she took this picture above! We still have SNOW!!!!!! REALLY!!!!!

But we have really LOOOOOOOOONG days! This was taken at 10 pm!

And this was taken a few days earlier at 4:45am! And that's a REALLY big ridge the sun is behind still.

My OTW likes the misty mornings in Spring even better! That was yesterday morning!

And this was the bestest! We had our own spectacular Victoria Day light show and NO BOOMS!!!!

My OTW says she tried to splice them together for you, but she thinks the rainbow was moving around even though it didn't look like it, because all the pictures either the rainbow wouldn't match up or the ground. But she wanted you to see you could see BOTH ends AND the middle!!!

My OTW says she wanted you to know living near the North Pole isn't ALL bad! Just kind of cold!

mommy isn't sure, but longer days even with cold sounds good to me. do you get to open the windows?

you have a lovely home. it is great you had a colorful light show for Victoria's Day with no boomies!

Wow, those are great pictures! I think I would like to live near the North Pole. Only I'd like the really tiny cold days so I could snuggle lots with my mom.
