'Twas the night before Christmas


'Twas the night before Christmas, (well, about quarter to six Christmas morning really)when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring,except Persephone's mouse


The stockings were hung by the uh...TV..from vishus deers... with care,


In hopes that St. Nicholas could be bribed with alcohol to show up anyway, even though it was WAAAAAY after his scheduled date;


The kitties were nestled all snug in their hidey-holes,
Muttering about humans who stay up too late


And mamma in her ...oh, nevermind.
